About the Breakout Game

Breakout was created by Atari in 1976, designed by Nolan Bushnell and Steve Bristow. Steve Wozniak (co-founder of Apple) famously built the hardware prototype. The brick-breaking concept spawned countless clones and inspired games like Arkanoid.
